Jetta Rose came into our rescue program on June 20, 2018. Jetta Rose came into our rescue program from the Beckham County Sheriff's Office as a cruelty case along with 12 other horses. Sadly, one died before we were able to get there. Jetta Rose is a Beautiful, Black, BLM Branded Mustang, Mare. Jetta Rose is estimated to be 2 years of age. Jetta Rose is very thin with a body score of a 2. Jetta Rose's feet were in horrible condition and lacked serious farrier care. Jetta Rose is a sweet girl but tends to be a bit aloof. She is halter broke and broke to lead. This case is still pending and we are waiting for an update from Beckham County. We are praying for a resolution regarding these sweet horses soon. Once we receive word, we will update adoption status. Jetta Rose has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she improves. Update December 2018 Jetta Rose is now seeking her forever, loving home. Jetta Rose has gained a lot of weight and doing great. Jetta Rose is halter broke and broke to lead. This sweet girl is now ready for training! She will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Jetta Rose can still be a bit aloof from time to time but with consistency and time, she will learn that daily attention is a good thing. Jetta Rose needs assistance learning how to stand for the farrier. Jetta Rose has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Jetta Rose was picked for our 8th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Kaidyn Lopez. Kaidyn will be working with Jetta Rose for the next 120 days, turning Jetta Rose into a dependable riding companion. Kaidyn will be going against 13 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 4th, 2019 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Available for Adoption on May 4th, 2019 to pre-approved adopters through a Silent Auction. All bids start at $800.00 on the day of the event only. The day of the event will be the only opportunity to adopt a horse with over $3000.00 of training alone, for the starting bid of $800.00. If the horses do not get adopted the day of the event, the adoption fee will be higher once brought back to our facility.
Jetta Rose has been adopted to a wonderful family in Choctaw, Oklahoma. She is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.
